Three tools for live audio engineers — in beta. Download, use them on a real show, and tell me what's wrong.

These tools came out of problems I kept hitting on the job. They're not polished products — they're working software that does a specific job well. All three are free during beta. In exchange, I need real feedback: bugs, missing features, things that felt wrong at 1 AM during a show.

Plugin Host Beta

LiveRack

Route any Core Audio source — Dante Virtual Soundcard, AVB, USB — through racks of VST3 and AU plugins and back to your console. Zero buffering beyond the device buffer. Built to survive a live show: plugin faults bypass cleanly, crashes restore the full show in seconds.

Download LiveRack macOS · Windows · Linux* · VST3 · AU · 3.5 MB

Ad-hoc signed (macOS): right-click → Open, or System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

What it does
System Processor & Measurement Beta

VenueTuner

PA system processor and measurement tool in one app. Transfer function, delay finder, auto-EQ, per-output gain · polarity · delay · limiter — and calibrated SPL logging with France 2017 compliance limits. Replace your hardware processor and Smaart on a single laptop.

Download VenueTuner macOS · Windows · Linux* · 176 MB

Ad-hoc signed (macOS): right-click → Open, or System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. macOS will ask for microphone access once — allow it.

What it does
Spectrum Analyser Beta

FOHScope

Real-time spectrum analyser built for the FOH position. Up to 16 simultaneous inputs across multiple interfaces, multi-time-window FFT, RTA, spectrograph, feedback finder, and calibrated SPL logging. A–B delta trace for comparing the FOH mic against the console.

Download FOHScope macOS · Windows · Linux* · 3.8 MB

Ad-hoc signed (macOS): right-click → Open, or System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

What it does

* Windows and Linux builds exist but have not been tested in production yet — macOS is the tested platform for now.

Send feedback.

Used one of the tools on a show? Found a bug? Wanted a feature that wasn't there? Tell me. Every message gets read — this is how beta works.
